ok, here are posters of movies that never happened. should they have happened? and what if they did now? the only one i'm super bummed about is WORST CASE SCENARIO, a double kicker trailer in the nazi-zombi-sploitation pocket from 2005 that was better than most films i had seen that year. i might have to kick DEAD SNOW in the pants for coming out instead.
BUBBA NOSFERATU. since we won't be squeezing water from a stone, or another PHANTASM sequel from don coscarelli, this will do, and if only paul giamatti can convince somebody to pay for it. or, ron perlman to commit to it. or, after coscarelli finishes his film adaptation of JOHN DIES AT THE END.
strange, but true. this concept was offensive to bill murray. i guess its happening now? still i think this movie would have ruled, in a "bogus journey" sort of way.
stuart gordon wasn't a g.w. fan and here is proof. after g.w. hitchkicked his way out of the white house the film lost steam.
the fabled manson-jodorowsky collaboration that never was. but will it?
the story of how BUCKAROO BANZAI AGAINST THE WORLD CRIME LEAGUE became BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA baffles me every time because it seems that nobody agrees on the particulars, anyway, somehow this movie never happened and BIG TROUBLE did! nay and yay!
i suspect this was a fangoria related joke. still...ABBOTT AND COSTELLO MEET FRANKENSTEIN is one of my favorite movies and that formula really can't fail. throw all your ailing horror stars into a zany comedy and see what happens?
the peter jackson movie based on the video game that never, ever was likely never ever will be.
